Aluminumpaper Vapor Barrier (49"x78' Roll)

Stock: 145
Product # 06918
Water vapour impermeable vapour barrier paper is a kraft paper laminate made of aluminum and polyethylene that prevents water vapour from entering structures and insulation. Value aluminum paper is tough and highly resistant to mechanical stress and moisture. PE aluminum paper is used as an internal vapour barrier in damp or high-tightness areas such as saunas. The value aluminum paper uses fiber kraft paper, which is more ductile and more resistant to mechanical stress and moisture. Seams and penetrations must be taped to ensure tightness.

Water vapour impermeable vapour barrier paper is a kraft paper laminate made of aluminium and polyethylene that prevents water vapour from entering structures and insulation. Value aluminium paper is tough and highly resistant to mechanical stress and moisture.

PE aluminium paper is used as an internal vapour barrier in damp or high-tightness areas such as saunas. The value aluminium paper uses long-fibre kraft paper, which is more ductile and more resistant to mechanical stress and moisture. Seams and penetrations must be taped to ensure tightness.

PE-ALUMINIUM PAPER INSTALLATION

PE aluminium paper is installed on the side of the structure where the partial pressure of water vapour is the highest. The aluminium surface remains facing the air gap or warm space.

The aluminium paper is fixed parallel to the frame, either by stapling or nailing it to the frame.
