Temperature alone does not tell you what a sauna feels like; humidity changes it too. The Maininki reads both from a single piece of soapstone.

Two dials, one stone

One dial reads temperature in Celsius, the other reads relative humidity as a percentage. Having them side by side is what makes the pairing useful: you learn the combination your room gives you at its best, then aim for it.

Accuracy, honestly

Saunas have hot and cold spots even within a small area, and these dials are not comparable to a computer-based digital thermometer. Our thermometers are calibrated within a reasonable range and these are indicative only. Use them to learn your room, not to certify a number.
