TimberGlow14 Wood Burning Sauna Heater
Made in Canada.
Holds 200 lbs (90 kg) of Stones.
14 kW Nominal Heating Power.
Canadian-made, the Leisurecraft TimberGlow is a wood burning sauna heater for dry or wet sauna steam. It burns wood logs only.
Firebox and fuel
The stove walls are 3/16 in (5 mm) steel, and the firebox takes wood logs up to 16 in (406 mm) long. The ash tray drawer sets the combustion air: open it about 0.4 in (10 mm) to light the fire, then close it to a gap of 0.08 to 0.12 in (2 to 3 mm) depending on the draft. Empty the ash tray before each firing.
Chimney
The heater's smoke outlet takes a 4-1/2 in (115 mm) chimney flue.
Specs and sizing
Suitable room size runs from 212 to 495 cu ft, with a nominal heating power of 14 kW. The stone cage is 20 in (508 mm) across and holds 200 lbs (90 kg) of sauna rocks. The heater stands 30 in (762 mm) tall and weighs 100 lbs (45 kg) empty.
Installation
Place the heater on a non-combustible surface that can carry its weight. Follow the safety distances to combustible materials shown in the TimberGlow manual, and keep electrical equipment and wiring out of the heater's safety area. If possible, fire it outdoors for its first heating, before installation; the paint gives off an odour the first time and reaches its full protection after that heating.
Warranty
Leisurecraft covers defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years from the date you receive the heater, under normal residential use. Coverage is parts only.
Matching options
It pairs with rocks, a chimney, floor plate, back wall shield and outside shield.
