There are two ways to get scent into a sauna: pour it on the stones, where it vaporises quickly, or hold it above the heat and let it evaporate. This is the second way. A stainless steel bowl hangs on chains from a wooden wall bracket above the heater and releases the scent during your session.

How it works

Fill the bowl with water, add a few drops of essential oil, and the heat rising off the heater gently warms the bowl.
