The Comfort backrest supports an upright seated posture. Its convex shape has a slight arch that encourages good posture, so your back rests gently against it while you sit.

Convex, and why that matters

This is the upright one. The cedar slats curve outward and support your back as you sit slightly forward. If you would rather recline than sit up, the Elite backrest is the concave version and does the opposite job.
