Freshly sawn alder is light in color and gradually develops warm tones, transitioning from pale shades to richer orange and reddish hues over time. This natural aging enhances the overall appearance of the material.
Alder also features a smooth texture, a pleasant subtle scent, and good durability. To maintain its appearance, it is recommended to treat the surface with a sauna protection oil or finish.
