From Narvi of Finland, the Luosto is a wood burning sauna heater with a stainless steel water tank and faucet built in. Meant for frequent sauna users, it also heats quickly with a small amount of wood. Thanks to its round shape, the heater is very durable and suits a wide range of saunas, while the glass door creates ambiance and makes it easy to keep the fire even.

Water tank

Capacity is 30 L (7.9 US gal), and the tank can be installed so the faucet sits where you want it. To adjust how warm the water gets, remove the required number of the five supplied adjustment plates. Clean water is the only thing to fill it with, and the tank should be emptied if there is any danger of freezing.

Sizing

Rooms of 282 to 706 cu ft (8 to 20 m³) suit this model. It holds 77 lbs (35 kg) of stones and weighs 119 lbs (54 kg) without them.

Installation

This water tank model takes its flue connection from the top only, through a 4.7 in (119 mm) outlet. Safety distances are at least 12 in (300 mm) at the sides, 20 in (500 mm) in front, 51 in (1280 mm) above and 14 in (350 mm) at the rear, measured at door height. Concrete at least 2 in (50 mm) thick can carry the stove directly; on a combustible or tiled floor, fit a Narvi installation base. Natural wood logs with a moisture content under 20% are the only fuel to use. It pairs with rocks, a chimney adapter, chimney, floor plate and back wall shield.
