Why it is needed
On Narvi NC and Kaamos heaters, the flue outlet is about 4-11/16" (119 mm), while the chimney sets are made for a 4-1/2" (115 mm) outlet.
When you can skip it
If you order a Narvi or other brand of chimney set, the adapter may not be required.
