SCAN Sauna Door
Andres' SCAN is the classic Nordic glass sauna door: 8mm tempered glass, alder frame, pre-hung, hangs left or right. Choose clear or bronze glass below.
If you've been in a Nordic sauna, there's a good chance you've seen this door. Andres calls the SCAN the most popular classic glass sauna door in the Nordic countries. Andres is the oldest and most experienced maker of glass sauna doors in Estonia, and builds its doors by hand.
Construction
8mm tempered safety glass in a 3-5/8 in deep finger-jointed alder frame. Framed size is 27-1/8 x 74-3/8 in.
Hardware and handing
A roller catch holds the door closed. The round wooden knob stays comfortable to touch in high heat. Handing is universal: the removable threshold lets it hang left or right on site.
Glass and installation
Available with clear or bronze tempered glass. The door arrives pre-hung with all hardware. Wooden-framed doors are for interior use; keep the frame out of direct water contact.
